About me

I have over twenty years of experience building relationships, asking questions, inspiring people to access deeper meanings and supporting growth and healing on many levels. In 2017, I completed a Master’s of Education (M.Ed) in Counselling Psychology, specializing in Counselling and Psychotherapy, from University of Toronto (Ontario Institute for Studies in Education). I am a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO), which means I am bound by a professional code of ethics and receive regular clinical supervision. I am a member of the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP). I completed a 2-year Human Relations Training program at the Hartford Family Institute in Connecticut. I also hold a Master’s of Environmental Studies (MES) from York University and a BA in Political Science/Women's Studies from McGill. I worked for many years as a Humanities Teacher at Champlain College (cégep) in Montreal.

In my training at Family Service Toronto and in the past 4+ years of private practice, I have counselled primarily individuals dealing with depression, anxiety, grief and loss, childhood abuse, life-threatening illness, interpersonal and sexual violence, communication issues, social isolation, life and career transitions, family conflict and parenting concerns. I have worked with clients from many cultural backgrounds and ages. I am LGBTQ+ positive, anti-oppression and trauma-informed, Spanish and French speaking.
